2008 Get Healthy Lake County Membership |
|
Join Get Healthy, Lake County's 10,000 Steps Program, and walk your way to a healthier lifestyle. The Surgeon General recommends 30 minutes of exercise three times a week; if you walk 10,000 steps a day, you will exceed this recommendation. Walking 10,000 steps, or roughly 5 miles, will increase the number of calories you burn a week, which will lead to a longer and healthier life.
Your registration packet includes a membership card, calendar of programs and step opportunities, list of step equivalents, pedometer to track steps, steps log and program descriptions. |
