Outback Trek |
|
This hike is designed for ages 12 and older (younger than 18 with an adult).
Outback Treks are some of the most physically demanding hikes that Lake Metroparks offers. We will go into areas that are typically not open to the public to see some of the hidden treasures in the park – cameras are welcome. On the Penitentiary Glen Reservation hike there will be some stream crossings along with large hills to climb up and down. Sturdy, waterproof boots are highly recommended. Lunch will be eaten somewhere off in the woods, so please pack a lunch and bring plenty of water to drink. This hike typically lasts between 4 and 5 hours.
